Productivity at last!

The weather this week hasn’t been quite as nice as last week’s, which is a good thing for my productivity levels because if the sun in shining I just have to be out in it!

I’ve spent most this week putting together plans for future projects, and like all projects, it’s starts with funding applications...lots of them! It’s something that I feel you don’t get told as an artist, that you’ll spend half your life filling in applications. It’s hard to know where to begin, how many funding opportunities are out there, when are they open, who is eligible, how do you write them effectively, etc. I make a list for myself of all the different grants I come across, and try to put them into a timeline, so I know when they open and how much time I have to apply. It can be fairly tedious, but I kinda like admin work so it’s not too bad for me!

But on a more fun note, I recorded a few videos for YouTube this week, so they’ll be appearing throughout the month. And I’ve been updating my wardrobe, because a little retail therapy is good for the soul!!
